Each issue

What lands in your inbox.

A single briefing, structured the same way every time, so you can scan it in under two minutes and read only the parts that concern you.

01

Regulatory movement

What changed at NERC, NUPRC, NMDPRA, ECN and SEC Nigeria — and which module or filing obligation it touches.

02

Live on the Deal Room

Raises that opened, closed or moved stage on the National Energy Deal Room, with the vehicle wrapper and lane.

03

Data Bank releases

New and revised series, the originating agency, and any restatement that would change a figure you have already cited.

04

Platform changes

New modules, material feature changes, deprecations and scheduled maintenance windows.

05

Risk & ESG notes

Clearance framework updates and changes to the metrics assessed under the ESG Clearance Portal.

06

Nothing else

No sponsored placements, no partner promotions, no re-sends. If an issue has nothing material in it, we do not send one.

Who it is for

Written for four readers.

Government & regulators

Ministry, commission and agency staff tracking what is moving across the federal energy stack without chasing each platform separately.

Investors & fund managers

GPs, LPs, DFIs and pension administrators who need regulatory change and live raises in the same place.

Developers & operators

Project sponsors and indigenous operators watching for financing windows and compliance deadlines.

Researchers & press

Anyone citing Nigerian energy statistics who needs to know when a series has been revised.

Questions

Before you subscribe.

How often will I hear from you?

Periodically, driven by what has actually changed rather than by a fixed calendar. In practice that has meant a briefing every one to two weeks. We do not send filler.

Do I need a NEIIA account?

No. The briefing is open to anyone. Access to the modules themselves is separate — see the account guide or contact the team.

Is this the same as a press release list?

No. Press and media enquiries are handled through the contact page, selecting "Media". This list is an operational briefing, not a publicity channel.

Can my whole team subscribe?

Yes, and each person should subscribe individually so that each holds their own unsubscribe right under NDPA 2023. Do not add colleagues on their behalf.

Are past issues available?

An archive is not yet published. Until it is, material platform and regulatory changes are also recorded in the help centre guides.
